As a focused team of leaders, United Way of Kentucky will align resources and work to advance Education, Income and Health. We envision Kentuckians united to give, advocate and volunteer to advance the common good for all.
United Way of Kentucky:
Develops, administers and coordinates the Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign in all 120 Kentucky counties, raising 1.2 million from 40,000 employees, utilizing more than 400 volunteers.
Launched United Way Born Learning Academy across the Commonwealth, partnering with our state’s school districts and elementary schools. Raised in excess of $1,000,000 to launch 62 programs through 2016.
Is a membership organization supporting 22 United Ways, which generate in excess of 46 million dollars annually that is reinvested into the local communities for health and human service programs covering 94% of the Kentucky population.
Coordinates a fundraising company campaign that incorporates offices located in three states: Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois, representing an employee base of 380 people located in 50 plus offices.
Facilitated and managed the launch of a volunteer connection program that coordinates volunteer activities in 55 Kentucky counties.
