OUR IMPACT

What we do

United Way of Eastern Kentucky is working to strengthen communities across the region by bringing together local people, organizations, and resources around shared challenges.

Led by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors made up of people who live, work, and invest in Eastern Kentucky, the organization is focused on building stronger connections across communities and making strategic investments where they can have the greatest impact.

That work includes partnering with organizations throughout the region to address critical needs such as housing, food access, child care, workforce participation, and disaster recovery.

As United Way of Eastern Kentucky continues to grow its presence across the region, its focus is on building an organization that reflects the communities it serves – rooted in Eastern Kentucky, connected across county lines, and centered on what local partners and residents can accomplish together.
